Touchpoint works closely with Akumin as the event technology specialist for Advice LIVE 2026.
Our role focuses on powering the event’s digital and operational infrastructure, including registration, website, accommodation management, financial administration, and exhibitor and sponsor systems.
We also lead the implementation of event technology solutions such as the attendee app with gamification, onsite check-in and badge printing, session scanning, and interactive tools like Q&A management and live polling. Supported by dedicated project management and onsite expertise, Touchpoint ensures the technology underpinning the event runs smoothly and effectively throughout.
The Challenge
Advice LIVE presents a highly complex registration environment, driven by a range of flexible payment options and the need to capture multiple components across a large-scale program. This includes session selections, social and activity bookings, accommodation management, and the coordination of varied exhibitor entitlements.

Touchpoint streamlined these registration complexities by designing a structured and intuitive registration journey, ensuring the user experience remained simple, clear, and informative at every stage.
To further support event attendees, Touchpoint managed a dedicated inbox throughout the full event lifecycle. This provided a single, reliable point of contact for all attendee enquiries, enabling the team to efficiently assist with registration support, accommodation requests, and technical queries whenever they arouse.
The Result
The simplified registration flow and centralised support model resulted in a smooth and user-friendly experience for attendees. The dedicated inbox enabled timely, consistent communication, reducing confusion and ensuring a high level of support across all touchpoints of the event journey.
This strong pre-event foundation translated directly into a seamless onsite experience. Attendees arrived well-informed and confident, with a clear understanding of their personalised schedules, accommodation details, and event inclusions. As a result, onsite support requirements were minimised, allowing the event to run efficiently and creating a more positive and engaging experience for both delegates and organisers.
Technology Highlight
Publishing the gala dinner table allocations within the attendee mobile app had a very positive impact on the event experience. This simple but effective solution ensured guests arrived at the function already informed of their table allocation and were able to move directly to their tables as soon as doors opened, minimising confusion and delays.
For an evening with a tightly scheduled program of formalities, this ensured guests were seated quickly and efficiently, allowing the proceedings to commence on time and contributing to a smooth, well-executed evening function.
