Touchpoint provided an integrated registration solution for World Corporate Travel (WCT)’s inaugural show Get Global, which went on to win the MEA 2017 award for Exhibition of the Year.

What
World Corporate Travel (WCT) engaged Touchpoint as Registration Partner for their inaugural Get Global exhibition at the ICC Sydney. The highly successful industry exhibition focused exclusively on Australia’s outbound market, pulling the MICE industry together on an international scale to give buyers and exhibitors the opportunity to meet with the right contacts and build their network globally.

Touchpoint provided an integrated technology edge to the event, allowing self-sufficient registration onsite and electronic buyer lead management through an exhibitor portal.
To provide a solution Touchpoint:

  • Built a customised, ‘boarding pass’ style name badge with barcode
  • Supplied and managed onsite self-check-in and printing units
  • Built and configured exhibitor portals & buyer lead management.

How

Touchpoint and WCT designed a themed ‘boarding pass’ style name badge which attendees received when they registered onsite. The name badge featured customised branding, personalised demographic & registration details, sponsor branding and registration category. This allowed for all attendees to be easily identified whilst providing an industry themed credential tailored for the event.

The credentials were produced onsite, on demand, from branded registration kiosks. The kiosks were configured to display a self-check-in screen which allowed pre-registered attendees to check-in easily and quickly whilst timestamping their arrival to the event and printing their personalised badge in one transaction.

Touchpoint assisted WCT to create an integrated online Exhibitor Portal, which allowed exhibitors to confirm details, register staff and upload required documentation. This portal linked with the Lead Retrieval component of the attendee app, allowing exhibitors to access the leads they had collected on the show floor, through a scan of the attendee’s barcode on their name badge.
