City of Sydney engaged Touchpoint to guide their City Conversations Department through the transition from EventsPro to EventsAIR. Using consultative workshops as the starting point, Touchpoint was able to deliver a highly customised series of services including tailored training, development of an EventsAIR user manual, Contact Store focus sessions and re-fresher training.

The Details

Touchpoint familiarised with the business structure and event requirements of the department via workshops, identifying how current key processes could translate to EventsAIR or where processes may need to be modified.

To accommodate the team’s deadlines and availability a range of half day training sessions were scheduled. This staggered approach allowed staff to familiarise with the new system over a period time and regularly return to the trainer with questions and feedback on their EventsAIR experience.

Touchpoint guided the department in building new EventsAIR processes and translating them into a 50-page user manual to be referenced by the team and used as a training tool for new staff. Adding value to the training and helping to lay a strong foundation for their operational processes, Touchpoint worked closely with the department to design multiple event database templates, including communications and branding.

In the final stages of transition, Touchpoint provided detailed consultation around the migration of almost 15,000 records from EventsPro to EventsAIR. The existing data was analysed and functional requirements considered prior to the successful and timely transition taking place, in partnership with Centium Software.

Touchpoint’s engagement remains ongoing, assisting the department with re-fresher training and functionality updates.
